Description: Published by the National Museum of History, China. There is no date of publication; others posting the same book place it at 1973 or 1974. It is partly bi-lingual, in English and Chinese. The English part, going left to right, has a title page in English, a listing of all images with plate numbers, then a chronological biography. The Chinese language part, right to left, presumably has the same introductory material. BEAUTIFUL PLATES THROUGHOUT. Lacking the slip case it was marketed in, but overall in EXCELLENT CONDITION. The book has been protected with a stiff plastic sleeve. 119 pages, plates from page 13 to 115. No interior marks. On this artist from Wikipedia: "Chang Dai-chien or Zhang Daqian (Chinese: 張大千; Wade–Giles: Chang Ta-ch'ien; 10 May 1899 – 2 April 1983) was one of the best-known and most prodigious Chinese artists of the twentieth century. Originally known as a guohua (traditionalist) painter, by the 1960s he was also renowned as a modern impressionist and expressionist painter. In addition, he is regarded as one of the most gifted master forgers of the twentieth century." BB3
