James Edwin Ray, who was taken prisoner of war by the North Vietnamese in May, 1966. Mr. and Mrs. Ray spoke to a Tuesday press conference at the Ramada Inn, held by members of families of Houston men believed to be prisoners in southeast Asia. Also present were, from left, Mrs. Janis Wendell, whose husband, Air Force Major John Wendell, was captured by the North Vietnamese in 1966, and Mrs. Peggy Turner, whose brother, Army Spec. 4 Robert Lewis Junior III, was shot down over Cambodia in 1968.
