Description: This listing is for a set of six (6) Gotoh SG05 "Crownhead" or "Chevron" style tuning keys. These are the 100% correct for Charvel style in that they have the shiny mirror backs. Charvel ordered them this way whereas aftermarket and other OEM's ordered them branded (Quest, Washburn, Gotoh, etc). To brand them back then, they used a spun aluminum back that would hold the screened inks. Now, people wipe off the markings with acetone and pass them off as the correct key, though they still have the spun aluminum back. While not nearly as common as the gold version, Charvel used these when requested by order chrome parts, or for rare factory Floyd Rose installations. At that time only chrome Floyds were on the market, so they stocked these to color key with the bridge. There are a number of weird terms for the screw style. Rather than play into the game, I am using the proper model name and included a factory diagram that will answer all. This style tuner appeared at the very end of 1980 and was used to some degree until the fall of 1982. If you have any questions, just ask. Includes Gotoh mounting hardware. If you want a set of NOS Charvel mounting screws (they were larger), ask and I will include a set of 6. Sold as is.
