Description: 1970's American Vintage Furnace Glass JET BLACK Tube Beads `15MM X 3MM SIZES ARE APPROXIMATE--HAND MADE BEADS! 1970's vintage Tom Arnold Furnace GlassThese beautiful examples of early American Furnace glass beads are rare and very nice. We acquired these from an old time bead store in the Pacific Northwest. The story she told me was that Tom Arnold was an early experimenter with making furnace glass beads and produced some fine colors and shapes. The only shape here is tubular with many having a matte version as well as a shiny version in the same color. As with any hand made beads, there are slight variations in size and color. The sizes are approximate. There are about 200 beads in each of these lots.
