Description: For the Baseball Hobbyist. . . 1970's - Early 1980's NuTone Scovill Promotional Card for Food Processor Purchase JOE GARAGIOLA ~ St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago Cubs & New York Giants catcher; Hall of Fame broadcaster ~ 4" by 6" advertising card ~ Issued in 1970s to early '80s to promote NuTone Scovill's food processor, this card features the likeness of former major league baseball catcher and beloved broadcaster JOE GARAGIOLA. The postcard size (4" by 6") advertising card features a borderless full color photo of Mr. Garagiola on the front with advertising information together with a recipe for NuTone Dijon Ham Spread on the reverse. This card is a nice addition to one's Type card collection, a Cardinals/Pirates/Cubs/Giants collector's prized items or general baseball hobbyist's holdings. It's really quite unique! Condition: Excellent/Near-Mint About the player: A 1991 member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame (broadcasters wing), Joe Garagiola was a fine major league catcher, boyhood pal of Yankee great Yogi Berra, and longtime national television broadcaster. As a rookie in 1946, Joe batted .316 in 5 World Series games as he helped the Cardinals defeat the favored Boston Red Sox in 7 games.
