Description: This is a large Double Pedestal Executive Desk in Walnut, designed by Jens Risom for Risom Designs Inc. in the 1960s. This example dates to ca. 1970 and has been recently refinished. It features several drawers which provide ample storage, and offers a kneehole space for your desk chair. It stands on four solid walnut legs that rest upon brass levelers. The body of the desk is constructed of solid walnut, and has walnut veneer panels on the fronts of the drawers and on the privacy screen in reverse. The piece is fully finished and may stand alone in the middle of a room. It retains its original sculptural black plastic drawer pulls. The desk measures 37.25 inches deep, 74.5 inches wide, and stands 29.25 inches high. The piece has been refinished, though some signs of age remain. The wood is darker in some areas of the desk, and the legs have some scuffs. Overall, this desk is in very good condition. Please see photos.
