Description: 1970 Grateful Dead Fillmore West Poster Bill Graham Psychedelic by Singer BG-237 Date: 1970 Artist: Singer, David Size (in): 21” x 14” Size (cm): 53.3 x 35.6 Condition: A-/B+ Linen backed: No This is the first printing of the 1970 Grateful Dead Bill Graham Fillmore West psychedelic concert poster designed by David Singer. This poster is designated BG-237 in the Bill Graham numbered series and was not one of the posters reproduced in licensed later printings. Along with the Grateful Dead this concert also featured New Riders of the Purple Sage and Southern Comfort playing four consecutive nights from Friday through Monday , December 4-7, 1970. This vintage original poster is in very good condition with light handling wear including upper corners slightly bumped and a small crease to tip of the upper left corner. The number “8” was written neatly in red marker on the back of the poster and does not show through onto the front side.
