Description: Here is an excellent condition, 1970 Anselmo Solar Gonzalez Concert classical guitar. It was made by Anselmo Solar Gonzalez in his Madrid, Spain workshop. Anselmo Gonzales is one of the great Madrid guitar makers. He developed his skill early, in the workshop of Santos Hernandez after Hernandez' death, along with Marcelo Barbero and Arcangel Fernandez. The overall condition of the guitar is excellent. The entire guitar was carefully refinished and polished using fine lacquers. There were no cracks in any part of this guitar. This hand crafted guitar was built using solid CSA rosewood for the back and sides, a Cedar neck and a solid cedar top. Scale length on this guitar is 660 millimeters. This scale creates excellent power and clarity. The nut width measures 54 millimeters. The original label is in excellent condition and is signed by Anselmo Solar Gonzalez. The ebony fretboard is in very good condition. The guitar has just been refretted. Action on the 12th fret low E string is 3.3 millimeters and the 12th fret high E string measures 3.2 millimeters. This guitar has brand new Der Jung High Ratio tuners with roller bearing barrels installed. They are very smooth with excellent accuracy. The guitar will be carefully packed and shipped in a good condition hard shell case.
