Description: This is an original instrument cluster with tachometer that was removed from a 1969 Cougar XR7 decades ago and have been in cool, dry storage ever since. I believe this fits 1969-1969 Mercury Cougar XR7 models. I also believe many Mustang gauge restores use parts from these for Mustang and other FoMoCo gauge clusters. These factory tach gauge clusters are very hard to find. Don't miss this nice original example. This gauge cluster is in good original condition as shown. All gauge faces are bright, vibrant, and easy to read as shown. The lenses are all intact with no cracking. The lenses do have scratches and could use polishing. The housing is in good condition with no breaks, repairs, rust of rot that I can find. The back of the gauge cluster is also quite nice with a clean and burn free printed circuit board. All gauges have been tested and work as they should including the trip odometer. The tach move smoothly throughout the RPM band and returns to zero when turned off.
