The 1968 Firecracker 400 was held at Daytona International Speedway on July 4th. Charlie Glotzbach started on the pole in the #6 Cotton Owens Dodge. This race was dominated by Cale Yarborough driving the #21 Wood Brothers Mercury. He would lead all but 18 laps and finish two laps ahead of LeeRoy Yarbrough, followed by David Pearson, Darel Dieringer, and Tiny Lund. Please review the other racing items I have listed.
