Description: Egypt Copper-Nickel 1967 AD, 1387 AH Ten Piastres Depicting United Arab Republic Eagle Gem Uncirculated For your Egyptian Coin Collection-EGC735 Details Description: A beautiful gem uncirculated 1967 (1387 AH) ten Egyptian piasters copper-nickel coin. The obverse of the coin depicts a standing eagle with a shield on its chest. The shield displays the tri-colored flag of the United Arab Republic which was red, white, and black with two green stars in the center. The stars stood for Egypt and Syria. The coin was struck during the time when Egypt and Syria formed the so-called United Arab Republic. The coin is absolutely beautiful and has beautiful clear fields. The coin is labeled (al-Gomhouryah al-Arabyah al-Mutahida) United Arab Republic and has the date as well as denomination on the reverse. It is KM-413 and weighs ~6 grams and measures approximately 27 mm in diameter and has a reeded edge. Please carefully review the scan as it is part and parcel of our description.
