Description: The program is in excellent condition and includes the line-up. The bottom left corner looks like it is damaged, but it is not, look closely because the coloring is misleading. Numerous pictures were taken to assist with the condition and content of the program and lineup. The Rebel 400 was the 15th race of the 1966 season and was held at Darlington Raceway on April 30th. The pole was won by Richard Petty with a speed of 140.815 mph. Richard Petty won the 43rd race of his career, dominating the field and winning by three laps over Paul Goldsmith and David Pearson. Only 12,000 people attended this race, and 5,000 of those were Boy Scouts admitted for free. This was a reflection of the Ford boycott of NASCAR for the 1966 season. Ford was unhappy with NASCAR due to the Chrysler Hemi engine being allowed to compete. Please review the other racing items I have listed at the eBay store, The Checkered Past. I will combine shipping and provide a refund on shipping charges for anything over cost. Thanks!
