Description: The program is in very nice condition with only minor wear. Numerous pictures were taken to assist with the condition and content of the program. The 1966 National 500 was held at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 16th. A crowd of 55,000 would watch Fred Lorenzen lead the field of 44 to green. Making his first start in the Grand National Series was Donnie Allison. LeeRoy Yarbrough would lead 301 laps of the scheduled 334 to win this race by 18 seconds over Darel Dieringer, Paul Goldsmith, Gordon Johncock, and Earl Balmer in the #71 K&K Dodge. This was Yarbrough's first win on a SuperSpeedway. Please review the other racing items I have listed. I will combine shipping and provide a refund on shipping charges for anything over cost. Thanks!
