1966 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide FLH

Description: For sale: 1966 Harley FLH Shovelhead This beautiful 1966 Harley FLH is in running condition, and with a bit of TLC it could be a stunning riding machine! I will try to include a video in the ad of the bike running.These first year shovel heads retain some of the vintage coolness of the Panhead era while incorporating the electric start and other more modern amenities of the shovel heads. I believe the bike was restored or repainted a number of years ago with many original parts. The carburetor and air cleaner are S&S Super.*it has come to my attention that this carb never came with a conventional choke. Instead it uses an enrichening valve. I’m not too familiar with this setup, but the bike only wants to start in this cold weather if you use your hand as a choke. It was only 35°F outside when I started it in the video.* So you will notice in the video I have to use my hand to choke it. Please see pictures for details on this bike. It has a few flaws in the paint and chrome, but overall it's a gorgeous machine.
