Note: the photos provided do serve as a "visual description" for this item, so please look closely at all of the pictures and determine if this card is acceptable. You are purchasing a 1965 Topps Battle - #58 "Japanese Soldier." This card is difficult to locate in ANY condition. I would describe this card as in good condition. NO major creases. There is an area of surface marks on the front side - see photos. Please look closely at all of the photos. I am NOT a grader of cards. Just an avid pre-1970 non-sports card collector. Still a very decent card for the collection! The 1965 Topps Battle cards comprise of a 66-card set. The first 53 cards depict battle scenes while the last 14 cards have 2 checklists and highlights of the WW II Allied leaders and fighting forces. These cards show through sensational bloody scenes battles during World War II. Additionally, every pack of cards originally came with a 1 of 24 cloth emblem card. These are extremely difficult to obtain. This is the one card form this highly collectible and sought after 66 set to the 1965 Topps Battle set. This set is still considered a nice set from the non-sports cards sets of the mid 20th century. This card will make a great addition for your set building, or an excellent starter card if you are starting your 1965 Topps Battle Cards collection! I have been collecting these classic collectible cards since their release in the mid 1960's. They are a interesting source of history from the mid 20th century and especially World War II. Like the Horrors of War set from 1938, there "might be" a bit of propaganda regarding the Axis forces during that time in our history. These cards like the 1962 Topps Civil War News cards were done by the famous artist, Norm Saunders. Cards come with a great writeup on their backs pertaining the front's picture.Truly, a great set! Please judge for yourself it's condition and centering. This card will be placed in a "penny saver" and rigid plastic holder and packed for safe shipment. As with all of my items, the shipping is FREE (ONLY in the U.S.) and satisfaction guaranteed. If you are not happy with your purchase, simply return for a full refund.Thank you for looking and for your purchase consideration.
