Edited by George A. Tlamsa."376 Pages Additional pages at the end advertising other Minkus stamp albums.Condition: Cloth cover is black with red, white and gray design and is intact with some light wear. The pages and cover are held together with two pins/posts. A few pages are a bit loose, otherwise all are intact. There is edge wear and foxing and some stains from dye transfer from stamps. Pages without stamps are in very good condition with very little foxing. There is "old book odor" from storage, which might improve with airing/dehumidifying or deodorizing. Stamps: We counted (one time) approximately 541 stamps within this album. Many stamps are attached to their matching images in the album. Many other stamps are loose - placed in the pages corresponding to their country of origin. Some stamps are stuck together or in the album spine area and we did not try to separate them. But most stamps are cleanly separated. We saw some stamps that appear to be unmarked. The earliest stamp we found is in its place in the United States 1890-1893. It is more difficult to determine the date of the latest stamp. Based on the age of the owner/compiler we are estimating the 1960s or 1970s. We counted the stamps and have listed them below. The count is approximate and might be slightly under or over. We left the stamps in the pages where we found them unless they clearly belonged to another country and then we tucked them to the appropriate pages. We did not attach or reattach any stamps. Other than that, all stamps are loose in the places we found them.
