Description: This is a 1970s Canadian reprint of the famous Beatles Royal Command Performance poster by NEMS from. It is in VF condition, with considerable handling. Not backed. In the picture it looks yellowed, but these are just shadows. The paper is pure white everywhere. The original poster was created just before the Beatles' first visit to America, where they appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show and played Carnegie Hall and Washington Coliseum. Printed by NEMS and widely distributed, it has became a mainstay among Beatles posters. It APPEARS to be a poster advertising a London performance on November 4th, 1963, their most famous to date. But it was not created until roughly January 1964, and the photo was taken around then, not earlier. And this November show did not take place at the London Palladium, and it was not a "Royal Command Performance," although the Queen Mother did attend, with other famous people. So this is a complete fake. Despite this, it remains the single most famous and well-known Beatles poster, the one everybody thinks of first. The shipping cost computed here should be correct if you only purchase one item.
