1961 Topps #120, Ed Mathews HOF (Braves) - Ungraded, EX-MT to NM (PSA 6 or 7?)

Description: The following, though similar on many listing, is not merely canned language I use in every listing. If there are defects not clearly visible in the photos, I say so. Please see my other listings here! Card pictured is exact card you will receive. This is a great example of an over 60-year-old card. There are no surface defects visible in the pictures. Definitely a candidate for third-party grading. I believe it would grade a PSA/SGC 6 or 7. The main defects keeping it from a higher grade are centering and a faint residue of some kind, i.e., on the yellow "Milwaukee Braves" portion. My impatience in awaiting a grade may be to your benefit! Bid with confidence, as I offer free returns (other than S&H) on raw vintage (1980 and earlier) cards. Interesting fact: An overlooked aspect of this hall-of-famer's career was his ability to get on base. Mathews led the league in walks four times, including in 1961 with 93. His 1,444 career walks ranks him 24th all-time. Playing a relatively short 17 seasons for a hall-of-famer, only one other player, Lou Gehrig, with 17 or fewer seasons walked more times than Mathews did.
