This beautiful genuine and original sixpence has been carefully cleaned with a small hole drilled to attach with a jump ring to a jewellery bail. This then placed onto a choice of white or black leather charm bracelet with well known clasp closure. A wonderful birthday or anniversary gift associated with the coin year of issue. Any questions or special requests please don’t hesitate to ask. The coin whilst cleaned carries some colourisation typical of its age. Whilst all sixpences are referred to as silver, it was only 92.5% silver until 1920 then for the next 27 years 50% silver until 1947 when silver content was removed and the coins became made from cupronickel for the next 20 years until the last minting in 1967.
