The White Artwork is hand inlaid, and the variegated background is hand stratified. Since each piece is handcrafted and has a unique stone color formation, no two pieces are identical. The name INCOLAY is a coined word derived from "in-layers of color" or "in-color-lay" beauty. To clean brush the smooth surfaces of incolay stone lightly with a soft bristled dampened toothbrush. You can also dip the brush in mild soap (Dawn) dishwater. This jewelry box is in excellent condition and has a lovely Art Nouveau style. It would look lovely on a vanity or just about anywhere.
