Description: 1960's GE Frost Guard Vintage Refrigerator Antique.Large Capacity upper refrigerator.Large Capacity lower freezer. Item 1. Compressor DOES NOT work; it needs to be RESTORED or a new one modified to be installed. Item 2. The OEM Refrigerator Starter Fractional Relay is in Unknown Operational Condition.Item 3. The OEM Thermal Overload Protector DOES NOT work and needs to replaced with similar one. The New Compressor Fan WORKS. Item 4. Needs NEW Refrigerator bottom glass shelving (NO rubber on the edges anywhere) with the measurements of Thickness is 1/4 inch.Length is 29 and 1/8 of an inch or 29 and 3/16 of inch (please note 29 and 1/4 of an inch may be slightly tight fitting since it fits into the interior sides and rear rubber insulation holders).Depth 18 and 1/2 inches. NOTE* Included is the OEM GE Frost Guard Front Rubber Cushion Holder/Sealer that slides into the front edge of the bottom glass shelving and also lays over the two bottom refrigerator compartments (1 meat and vegetable drawer compartment and 1 fruit and vegetable drawer compartment) that sits over an interior barrier that separates refrigeration into those respective compartments. Wiring WORKS and is original; would personally recommend newer ones. Freezer fan WORKSBoth thermostats WORK refrigerator and freezer.Both interior lights WORK refrigerator and freezer.Interior door gaskets good WORKING condition; would personally recommend newer ones. When the compressor worked it was THE BEST refrigerator and freezer I ever had; an envy to my family and friends who went thru 2-4 refrigerators. GE made them much, much, better back then.
