Description: 1960s BACCARAT Austin Nichols Wild Turkey Whiskey Crystal Decanter LIMITED ED. “Baccarat Austin Nichols Wild Turkey Whiskey Decanter" recently purchased from a high-end estate in Chicago. Owner pointed out that the rim of the decanter still has brown paper tax stamp in 2 places on the top outside of the rim (see picture #7).....this can be easily removed with soap and water. This piece is extremely bright and clear for its age. Baccarat etched signature stamp on the bottom of the decanter (see last picture). Baccarat superb Wild Turkey decanter for Austin Nichols & co New York. Crystal whiskey decanter decorated with palmettes, gadroons, foliage and a "turkey" bird (see picture #6). This top barrel with wide / flat belly consistent with the style of decanters on ships at sea. This pattern is very unusual for Baccarat. I was told that these decanters were made by Baccarat specifically for Wild Turkey Whiskey in a very limited number. Decanter measures about 8 3/4” tall at the rim and about 11 7/8’’ with the stopper in place. It is about 7’’ across the base. Gorgeous and elegant antique piece in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, flakes, or other defects.
