1959 Topps - #439 Brooks Robinson and 1961 Brooks Robinson #10

Description: Gold glove Baltimore Oriole All Star and Hall of Famer Brooks Robinson set of two cards! 1959 Brooks unfortunately has rounded corners and there is a stain where the "bin" of his name is in the yellow. There is also a crease that goes from the top of the card right through the "o" and ends in the middle of the card as it trails off to the edge. Someone has also written a "3" in pencil on Brooks' left arm. May come out and brighten with a good professional cleaning. The back of this card is okay and I find it amusing that Topps thought attending college classes in the off season was noteworthy enough to make a cartoon of it. Much nicer looking is the 1961 Brooks Robinson card featuring the Oriole on the sleeve. This card is well centered, has good corners, no creases or bends. The back looks like it just came out of the pack. Minor cleaning may be needed only in that what seems to be a beauty mark just below Brook's right eye should not be there and the lower right corner where it says Baltimore Orioles seems to either be scuffed or has some white line on there that are not on another other Brooks Robinson card I have of the same year.
