Description: Rare 1959 Barbie (brunette) and Ken dolls. Barbie comes with her original black and white striped bathing suit and Ken with his original red shorts and red strapped sandals. Barbie’s hair is in a ponytail and Ken’s hair is flocked. He is straight legged (not bendable) Also included are two stands, a pink carrying case, several outfits, and an original pricing book from the late 80’s. Please note: there are a few shoes with no matching pair (see photos). You’ll see one photo that shows only one green sock. When I found the second sock, I took a picture of them together (see photo). Also note that Ken’s left leg comes off when moved. I’m not sure why, perhaps it just needs a strong person to get it back in. Shipping price includes the purchase of insurance and sending the dolls registered mail.
