Here we have a poster originally issued in 1958 advertising a speech, mass meeting and book signing by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Wheat St. Baptist Church on December 10th. in Atlanta, Georgia. Also speaking were other prominent leaders of the Civil Rights Movement such as Rev. Ralph D. Abernathy, Rev. A. L. Davis Jr., Rev Fred L. Shuttlesworth, Rev. C. K. Steele and, presumably, Dr. William H. Borders the church pastor. Presented were reports from Southern cities such as Tuskegee [Alabama], Norfolk [Virginia], Little Rock [Arkansas], and Shreveport [Louisiana] as well as from the state of Mississippi.
