You are purchasing a 1957 Topps Isolation Booth - #48 "What is the Fastest Land Speed Ever Recorded?" A tough card to find in any condition. I would describe this card as in very good/excellent condition. (see photos)This card DOES have a crease. Still a very decent card for the collection! However, I am NOT a grader of cards. Just an avid pre-1970 non-sports card collector. The 1957 Topps Isolation Booth cards comprise of an 88-card set. These cards have colorful fronts with a posed question. Their backs are orange and white and provide background information to the question. BUT, the exact answer is only revealed by placing a "red decorder" sheet over the back. These are extremely difficult cards to obtain in high grade condition due to their poor quality of card stock material used in the mid 1950's. This is the one card from this highly collectible and sought after 88 set to the 1957 Topps Isolation Booth set. This set is still considered a nice set from the non-sports cards sets of the mid 20th century. This card will make a great addition for your set building, or an excellent starter card if you are starting your 1957 Topps Isolation Booth collection! I have been collecting these classic collectible cards since their release in the mid 1950's. They are an interesting source of trivia factual historical information.
