Description: Vintage from 1956, this Western Electric Bell System Rotary Phone has been tested and works as expected i.e., dial tone, ringer etc... It needs cosmetic work if you wish to restore to it's original color, shine etc... As noted in the condition description, this is in 'As found' condition showing wear in the form of scuffs, dullness and yellowing of the numbers/letters which were white when new. Its heavy at ~ 4 1/2 lbs. Please note, I did not block out/photo shop out the number on the face of the phone as it is nonfunctioning.
