Description: Hi everybody. This is a vintage 1951 College of the Pacific Tigers football pocket schedule. It measures 2.75" x 4". This comes from the personal scrapbook of Doug Scovil, who played football for the College of the Pacific (now known as the University of the Pacific). Pacific's opponents that year were Hardin Simmons, Loyola, Oregon, Clemson, Boston University, Nevada, Marquette. Denver, San Francisco, and San Jose State. Based on my research, it looks like the Tigers ended up playing North Texas State on October 27th instead of Nevada. The Tigers finished the regular season at 6-5 and lost to Texas Tech in the Sun Bowl. They were led by head coach Ernie Jorge. Please see photos for condition. Shipping and handling is $3.99.
