Description: this is a vintage 1951 hardcover Illustrated children's book called Mr Punnymoon's train. the book is written by Alice hadsell and the pictures and illustrations are by Katherine Phillips. this is a story about Mr Punnymoon who was a very fine railroad engineer. he drove a big fat puppy steam engine. but he knew it was almost time for him to stop working. along with the story are colorful unique illustrations to go with it. all the pages of the book are intact. the stitching on the inside back cover is pulled away on the bottom half but still attached. the inside back cover also has some creases from age. the outside cover is worn around the edges and corners. the front cover wrap is slightly wrinkled from age. the bottom left spine is torn but does not affect the inside of the book. the back cover has some peeling along the spine.
