Subtle curved back accented with a thin almost full height pillow. The model 312 has a higher back than the 302 counterparts. We also have a pair of 302 armchairs and a three seat sofa from the same design suite if you're looking to build out an entire room, lounge or lobby. these chairs would work well with designs from Vladimir Kagan, George Nakashima, Edward Wormley, and Harvey Probber.
