Description: This lovely evening clutch comes from the estate of my mother, who used it in the 1950s and early 1960s, when she lived in North Africa. The fabric is silk brocade and features a design of butterflies, birds, flowers, and leaves. It was sold by A. Neechamall of Beirut (whose granddaughters are now jewelers in Beirut!). It has an expandable bottom, which I wasn't able to photograph, a snap closure, an inner pocket, and a small two-sided mirror. Except for some light wear to the sides, where some of the metallic thread has dulled, the clutch is in beautiful condition. (I am selling another of my mother's evening clutches in a separate listing.) I welcome questions!
