Vintage formal gown from the mid-1950s Black lace over two layers of black tulle and pale grey tiered/ruffled tulle Accent with satin bow and bodice wrap in the palest of blue-grey satin, which adds a striking contrast against the black Under it all is a satin skirt Strapless, Fitted bodice with boning on front and underside for form/shape support Gorgeous and striking bow on back This dress is in great condition and made exceptionally well No holes, no rips, no tears, no stains, no odors, nothing falling apart It was made extremely well It has not been professionally cleaned, but the only thing is a few tiny scattered light beige age spots on the bow and an age spot on the satin skirt hem (see pic) These are easily removed. There is one snag area on one of the inner layers of a black tulle hem. It is not noticeable. I would not have noticed it without inspection.
