Description: ULTRA RARE - some copies of the 2-Volume set, likely not including the first volume which appears to be an Executive Summary, can be found in libraries as indicated by Worldcat. In French, the full title, Plan Décennal pour le Développement Economique et Social du Congo Belge, translates to, Ten-Year Plan for the Economic and Social Development of the Belgian Congo. The publisher is, Les Editions De Visscher of Bruxelles, and the only author I can see is Pieerre Wigny, Ministre des Colonies, who authored the "Introduction" in the first slim volume. The other two Volumes are "Tome I" and "Tome II". The listing photos show the Table of Contents. LOTS OF MAPS THROUGHOUT BOTH ALL VOLUMES. The first slim volume is numbered with Roman Numerals up to 43; Tome I has 315 pages, Tome II continues the pagination to 601. Some small tears top left corner at spine of Tome II; else covers are clean with some age-toning around the edges and some small disparate cover color due to storage. All three clean and solidly bound with no markings. AN INTERESTING HISTORICAL LOOK AT PLANNING FOR THE BELGIAN CONGO CIRCA 1950. BB14
