Description: This is a hardcover Harvard College Class of 1896 Secretary's Tenth Report, hardcover red cloth over boards and gold lettering, printed for the class in 1946. It is in fair condition, with water staining to front and back covers. It measures 9 1/2" X 6 1/2" and has 451 pages. One of the students listed in the book is Rogers Dow, class of 1896, whose undergraduate and law school grade reports are included. Also included is the Western Union telegram Dow received appointing him to serve as an appeal agent for the selective service in his area. The telegram was sent by Leverett Saltonstall, Governor of Massachusetts, on October 9, 1940. Mr. Dow died in 1942. This book was printed in 1946 and was likely presented to Mrs. Dow that year. The only writing in the book is the signature of "Mrs. Rogers Dow", dated June 1946.The book contains several large foldout photos of various events.
