Tuners: Original with original buttons Frets: Possible old re-fret Pickup, pots & wiring: Original Pick Guard & Hardware: Original Knobs: original (see pics) Bridge: Not sure, but if replaced a vintage one was used Tail Piece: Vintage Gretsch Tailpiece Cracks, Refinishing, Reset Or Repairs: Reset onlyIf your seeing something of concern not described within, please ask...Condition Description & Flaws Noted:This is a Vintage & Very Clean 1946 Gibson USA ES-150 that's truly an eye catcher! This guitar was professionally gone over and there are NO issues to speak of other than what's noted above. The finish on this guitar is 100% original (except the back of the neck due to an old reset), and looks absolutely amazing for its age! There will be light finish checking, scratches, dings, dents, chips and light wear here that I consider to be minor given its age and I'm sure you will agree (see all pics). The fingerboard and frets are in good shape showing average wear and plays beautifully as it sits (see pics). The hardware does show the minor discoloring you would expect of a vintage guitar. The back of the neck and head stock are in good shape, with only some minor dings & marks here and there (pictured). The tail piece was changed at some point using a vintage Gretsch tail. The original strap button is included in the case pocket. The electronics are all correct, in tact and operate as they should. Acoustically and plugged in, it plays and sounds great with great action that I am personally very happy with..Take a look at all of the pics to see cosmetic condition.If your a player or collector you will love this guitar! The chunky/fat neck profile feels great, and it truly looks, sounds and plays great for a 77 year old vintage guitar. The neck is straight & the truss rod operates as it should, with great action up and down the finger board. Plays great with a very low string height. Although, I think its set up just fine, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility to have it set up to your liking..The Original Brown Lifton Hard Case is a perfect fit and overall is in good vintage condition. It is 70+ years old, so it does show the wear from use and age that you would expect. Latches, hinges and interior door operate as they should, but the handle is missing. This is a great addition to this guitar, since most do not come with the original case...
