Description: Dean Harens Autographed Inscribed Photo 5x7, original envelope to my Mom 1944 in Ft. Madison, IA My late mother was star crazy in her tweens and teens, and collected autographed photos and other movie memorabilia. I am clearing out her home and going through her collections, and will be listing some over the next few months. Dean Harens, pictured here, was born in 1920, first appeared in film in Christmas Holiday with Deanna Durbin in 1944. He was in a total of 7 movies, and made the switch to television with appearances on the F.B.I. He also guest starred on Perry Mason and Bonanza. Harens died in Van Nuys, CA in 1996, at the age of 75. This autographed photo, measuring 5 x 7 inches, is inscribed in blue ink to my mother. It is still in the original envelope, addressed from Dean Harens, Universal City, CA, to my mother in Fort Madison, Iowa. Signature in lower right of photo says:"Best Wishes TwilaDean Harens" Photo is in nice shape, with a cardboard stiffener still in place. Envelope is in good shape with light handling wear. There is 1 cent metered postage on it, postmarked in Uniersal City, Calif. The metered postmark includes a promo for The Climax, starring Boris Karloff and others. There is some yellowing to the envelope. There is a small ridge running parallel to the long side of the left of the photo, in the white margin, as shown in last photo.
