This map measures approximately 20 x 16 1/2 inches, including the border area. On the reverse side, is an article on "The Topographic Maps of The United States", including a Standard Symbols Legend. The map has specific details to it and shows various attributes - different road surfaces, buildings, barnes, greenhouses, railroads, national boundaries, State boundaries, towns, woods, vineyards, marshes, mine tunnels, steep slopes, tunnels, bridges, etc. Map is generally in Good condition. It has been stored in a roll for many years, so it naturally rolls up now. The map has some wear and browning. There are some creases and tears around the edges of the paper and other stains along the edges. There are other creases and dings here and there, as well. This map is a great piece of history!
