Description: Up for auction is a beautiful letter sheet cover from a detainee in the concentration extermination camp of Auschwitz in Germany occupied Poland. Konzentrationlager KZ Cover written on camp issued stationery. Sent by a detainee named Heinrik Wroblenski to a Wonvrajusz Wroblenski in Poland. The handwritten letter is dated June 20, 1943. Note the prisoner is designated a security prisoner, i.e. a member of the resistance. Note the stamp has been removed by camp censors looking for hidden messages. Priced to sell.What is interesting about this cover is it has the preprinted stationery issued by concentration camp officials along with the censorship markings. For the serious collector of Judaica and Holocaust related philately this is an exceptional item. Cover is in excellent condition but shows a little wear.
