Many clubs popped up, and one of them was the Florentine Gardens on Hollywood Boulevard. Opening in 1938, the Florentine Gardens was a dinner theater with a $2.00 admission. In the early 1940s during WWII, servicemen would find the affordable entertainment of the Florentine Gardens attractive. In 1948, the Florentine Gardens went bankrupt, and later reopened as the Cotton Club and ran as a place for black performers. Today the building still stands and is a nightclub featuring live groups and D.J.s. 9-1/2" x 12". Edge wear; bit of dog-earing; some yellowing typical of paper pulp this old. Please note the more yellow photos occurred while lightening them to better show the content; the other photos show colors more accurately. I'm selling other vintage menus, and will combine shipping. I will ship FIRST CLASS MAIL according to your zip code from 82801, unless otherwise instructed at the time of sale. Will be well-packaged for a safe journey (you're welcome to check my feedback).
