I had the great honor to meet dozens of former great players like Judy Johnson, Ernie Banks, Stan Musial, Steve Carlton, Mike Schmidt, Robin Roberts, Juan Samuel (my favorite player), Pete Rose, and many more. I actively added to my collection until 1991 when I went to college and took several years off. In 1996 a friend gave me an autographed Rocky Bleier photo re-sparking my interest in the hobby. Since then I’ve been collecting mainly Pittsburgh Steelers memorabilia and I am the founder of the Pittsburgh Pro Football Hall of Fame, which is an on-line Hall of Fame for former players from all Pittsburgh Area teams. Now that retirement age is approaching quickly, I decided it’s time to let go of the collection I’ve worked on for the last 25+ years.
