Description: This listing is for ONE exquisite 1940s two-tabbed porcelain cake plate by Thomas, in their Ivory line, made in Bavaria Germany, U.S. zone. This would have been shortly after the end of WW2 in the 1940s. Plate measures 12" in diameter, not counting the tab handles. I have two of these available, purchased from the same source, both in exquisite condition. No chips, cracks, or unusual wear. Can't even see any utensil marks. Gold trim remains beautifully intact. Looks like both of these have lived in someone's china cabinet for their entire lives. Absolutely lovely. If you are a collector of U.S. Zone porcelain pieces, or you just want a really special cake plate for a special occasion, you've just found the next piece to add to your collection. Will be packed with care and shipped with GOBS of packing material!I am listing many other items on eBay, including other antique and collectible serving pieces. So please check my other listings, as I will be happy to combine shipping.I do not accept returns. Please read the description, examine photos, and ask questions if you are unsure. Absolutely no refunds or exchanges.
