Description: Thiscurvaceous Bakelite Delco table radio is a fine example of 1930s design. The cabinet is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and a superb original shine. The five tube chassis was innovative for its time, using the newly developed "All American Five" octal tube set, permeability tuning, a capacitive plate internal antenna, and mechanical pushbutton tuning for four preset stations. This radio has been electrically and mechanically restored, with all new capacitors, a full alignment, and a modern polarized power cord with some internal wiring changes to bring things up to more modern safety specs.
