Description: Men's clothing advertising and display box from 1937-1938 offering custom tailored suits and pants, with prices handwritten on the box. I do not see a brand. I believe it came with cloth samples in the box back in 1937. You would pick the cloth you wanted and give the dry goods store your measurements. The dry goods store took care of it from there, and your new custom tailored suit would be delivered back to the store. When this item was new it was displayed in a grocery and dry goods store in Bogata Texas that was open until the mid-1980's. This item has been in indoor storage since the 1930s. Open the box and the front flap folds forward for display as shown in the photos. Hinges and side supports in good shape. Graphics are clean and bright.
