1937 1938 Chevrolet Chevy GMC Truck Pickup Frame Boxing Plates 3/16 thick Front

Description: Front boxing plates CNC cut from 3/16 steel. 44 inches long. I use 3/16 steel for its strength. Personally I don't trust using 1/8 inch or 10 gauge plate for this application. These are built to the inside dimension of the frame, this allows you to fillet weld them in place top and bottom. Then grind them smooth and still have plenty of material for a strong attachment. These plates are precision cut, every set is the same. I spent numerous hours getting the design/shape of these just right. I have test fit them in multiple frames, they fit them all really well! The inner flanges may be slightly bent up or down a bit, easily fixed with a large crescent wrench or a Hammer. These are specifically built to fit 37 and 38 Chevy and GMC 1/2 Ton Truck Frames, however the also fit 36,39,40,41,42 and 46 Chevrolet and GMC half ton trucks.
