A very scarce early edition published during the annual's first series of publications from 1919-1941, before stopping publication and restarting again in 1949. Illustrated with colour and monochrome vignettes and eight vibrant tipped in colour plates.This very scarce early example of this annual provides a depiction of India during the 1930s. This vibrant historical work has advertisements throughout, showing examples of the businesses that were operating and products that were being sold during this time. The annual also features a number of articles on topics such as trade routes and criminal tribes in Bombay and various short stories. CONDITION In the publisher's original paperback. Externally generally smart with edge wear, creasing to the extremities, marks to the rear, closed tears to the joints to the head and tail and very minimal loss to the head of the spine. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with the odd spot and minor handling mark.
