You should not buy this fake, for educational purposes of unsuspecting potential buyers only. Key date fake Washington Quarters in higher grades are being sold online. The weight of this one was one way to determine it is fake, only weighs 5.9 grams. A quarter of this grade would be about 6.2 grams. Most of the time, the coins are being sold with unclear images. However, buyers of the fakes are re-selling them with better images. Yesterday I noticed a brand-new seller with two 1932 S Quarters that looked high grade, nothing else, I know one sold. The other day, I noticed a nice 1932 D with a nice re-punched mintmark to distract your attention. My best description of this fake would be "cast" as opposed to minted. Zoom in on the images and you can see a bubbly surface texture that is not corrosion. The numerals of the date are crude, and the rims are shoddy. Looks like they put them in a tumbler with some dirt, rocks, etc. to make them look almost uncirculated.
