С 1929 года журнал был организатором конкурсов красоты «Мисс Россия» в Париже. The magazine "Illustrated Russia" was published in Paris in Russian from 1924 to 1939. Founded in 1924 by M. Mironov in Paris like pre-revolutionary, so familiar to Russian emigrants weekly illustrated literary and artistic magazines. Since 1929, the magazine has been the organizer of "Miss Russia" beauty contests in Paris.
