Description: For sale is a scarce Changeover Pair of 1934-D $5 Silver Certificate. The first note was printed with a rare Wide II back plate variety (Plate 2079). The next consecutively numbered note was printed with the older Wide I back variety (Plate 1920). The first note is the key to the 1934-D series, with very few plates of this variety created. This changeover pair is much rarer than a pairing with a Narrow plate or a 1934-C/1934-D changeover. Check my other listings for the Changeover Pair that was from the top of this same sheet. These notes grade Gem CU in my opinion, fresh out of an original run out of a pack. They are as fresh and crisp and bright as the day they were printed.
