Description: This framed candid photo is labelled in pencil on the backing 'Chartres France 1933'.I believe it was taken by my friend born 1894 on a trip to Europe but I can't be sure. The photo was, however, found in her estate. I believe it is a street level view of Guillaume Gate.A woman is walking away from what looks like a well. The framers were Master Art Shop 878[?] Sixth Avenue. N.Y.C. and the backing is deteriorating.Frame is loose but good with fading finish; very light weight frame.
