1930s vintage Georgene Averill, International series, j'td. "Mexico" cloth doll

Description: International series, story-telling dolls.... Wonderful, vintage 1930s, 13 1/2" tall, Georgene Averill cloth doll, "Mexico Gaucho", #5074 from their International series. He has a swivel head with molded mask-type hard-pressed, dark brown, cloth face, brown painted eyes, thick eyelashes, excellent cheek coloring, adorable, thick black, yarn hair and is wearing all his original clothing including brown trousers and gold cotton, long-sleeve shirt, green jacket with striped cotton trim, matching colorful woven trim and original black leatherette shoes with ties, brown cloth body with mitt-type hands. He wears a colorful braided yarn trimmed serape over his shoulders to match the band on his felt hat. See other cloth dolls from Georgene Novelties on page 30, "Cloth Dolls"-Judd. He is in very good condition with no damages or repairs, no holes or rips, no tears and no odors as he is from a smoke free home. Dolls in last photos are each listed separately and not included.
